Simcoe County is home to approximately 4,000 grand-families. The GrandParent System Support Program (GSSP) was established in response to the increased needs and unique challenges experienced by grandparents with the sole responsibility of raising their grandchildren. The GSSP offers support groups in Barrie, Bradford, Stroud, Orillia and Midland.
